Geneva Literary Aid Society

More Lives Than One by Leslie Clack (11.03.2009)

The Geneva Literary Aid Society is back with another first class production “More Lives Than One” which was a hit at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival for the English actor and writer, Leslie Clack, and is currently on a European tour.

Clack brings Oscar Wilde and his great literary triumphs to life in this well-received production from the Dear Conjunction Theatre Company, described by the Oscar Wilde Society as a “brilliant, magical performance.”  It is directed by Patricia Kessler.

What the critics said:

Sparkling, intense…a gem – Oxford Society

With smooth and mellifluous voice, Clack gives Oscar Wilde fans an informative and well-researched show peppered with extracts from the great writer’s plays….An enjoyable and exciting evening for any Oscar Wilde fan –  Cecil Boys, The British Theatre Guide

Beautiful and literate…..You don’t have to be a Wilde Fan to love this performance – Bernie Greenwood, Hairline Fringe

Leslie Clack gives an immense and mesmeric performance….He brings out the lightness and darkness in Wilde’s life and works – Ben Douglas, www.one4review.com
