Geneva Literary Aid Society

Luka Bloom (16.10.2012)

The Geneva Literary Aid Society is proud to announce its next event. We are bringing the renowned solo performer, Luka Bloom, to Geneva for one night only. There’s much more to his music than his international hit, a cover of LL Cool J.’s “I need love.”

He’s a troubadour for the truth, a poet of the pain, a lyricist for love, a musician of meaning … Luka Bloom has a special voice and a unique style as a guitarist. As a teenager he toured with his big brother Christy Moore. Last year he toured with the Dalai Lama. This year he is on his own tour of Europe and in Geneva for one night
only. Don’t miss it.

What they say:

“With each successive album, Luka Bloom digs deeper and gazes wider.”
– The Irish Times.
“That he scales such emotional heights with just his voice, a guitar and a bagful of heartfelt songs makes Bloom’s achievements even more remarkable.” – Hot Press
“I love being around him. I like going for a walk with him, like talking with him, like listening to him singing. And I really like the way he cooks dinner.” – Christy Moore.
