It’s two years since GLAS brought Luka Bloom to Geneva for the first time. We had an amazing reaction from the audience that night and we promised to bring him back. He’s on tour again and Geneva is on the list for Saturday, October 11.
Here’s a sample of some emails we received after his last visit:
“It was really great. Would love to see him again.”
“Unbelievable show last night – great stuff. Thanks for arranging this. Please keep me on your mailing list.”
“Thanks for organising a great night with Luka Bloom – it felt like a private concert in one’s own home! a great success.”
Luka Bloom has a special voice and a unique style as a guitarist. As a teenager he toured with his big brother Christy Moore and as an adult he has toured with the Dalai Lama because of the beautiful song he wrote about the Dalai Lama’s flight into exile..
What the critics say:
“With each successive album, Luka Bloom digs deeper and gazes wider.”
– The Irish Times.
“That he scales such emotional heights with just his voice, a
guitar and a bagful of heartfelt songs makes Bloom’s achievements
even more remarkable.” – Hot Press
